Mastopexy or Breast Lift

• Procedure - Reshape and raise sagging breasts by removal of excess skin, and repositioning breast and nipple tissue.
• Length - 1 to 3 hours.
• Anaesthesia - General or Local with IV sedation.
• In/Outpatient - Outpatient.
• Side effects - Bruising, Swelling, Pain, Numbness.
• Risks - Thick wide scars, Skin loss, Infection, Uneven position of nipples or breasts.
• Recovery - Back to work 1 to 2 weeks.  Strenuous activities - 1 month.  Fading of scars several months to a year.
